Hey, my name is Aspen. I’m the creator behind Aspens Essentials!

Currently residing in Central Alberta I am a farrier by day, designer by night. All my life I’ve loved to create and work with my hands, there was never a moment I couldn’t be found with a pencil, paint or anything else I could craft something out of in my grasp. This, coupled with my love of animals, led me down a path to farrier work. The opportunity to create something from nothing more than a flat piece of steel was right up my alley. I attended the Olds College Farrier Science program in 2020, and then pursued an apprenticeship with the Alberta Centre of Equine Podiatry. During my 4 years there I was given the opportunity to be apart of the North 49 Farriers. Here I got to utilize my skills and passion for art to design a logo and the apparel for the events we put on. Slowly I started getting requests to design logos for fellow farriers and friends and eventually this branched even further to new people and businesses. With the elevated interest in my design and apparel hobby I decided to make my own business out of it, and so Aspens Essentials LTD was created! It’s been a lot of growth in a short amount of time but I’m excited with how it’s flourished.
